Day-1 Arrive Kolkata – Local SIghtseeing
Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport or Howrah Railway Station, meet & greet by company executive or driver. Afterwards direct drive & transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for local sightseeing as one of the famous Shaktipeeth – Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, Which is a Hindu Navratna Temple located in Dakshineshwar, close to Kolkata. Situated on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, the presiding deity of the temple is Bhavatarini, an aspect of Kali, meaning, 'She who liberates her devotees from the ocean of existence i.e. Samsara'. Later visits Birla Temple, Victoria Palace, Eden Gardens (Criket Stadium) etc. Evening explore your time at Howrah Bridge at Hooghly river. Later for local markets or shopping. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day-2 Kolkata – Ganga Sagar – Kolkata – Overnight journey to Guwahati (880 Kms/ By Train)
This morning after breakfast, check-out & drive towards Ganga Sagar (100 Kms). Gangasagar or Sagar Island is an island in the Ganges delta, lying on the continental shelf of Bay of Bengal, south of Kolkata. "Sab tirath bar bar, Gangasagar ekbar", may we visit other holy places several times - but a visit once to Gangasagar is worth a life-time, keeping it in mind Hindus from all over the world, from Nepal, Thailand, West Indies, Canada, Japan, far from Australia and from every state of India reaches the confluence of Ganges at Sagar Sangam situated in southern part of West Bengal in India. After having a holy dip here & explore your time for its natural beauty. Later drive back to Kolkata & direct drop at Howrah Railway Station to board train for Guwahati. Enjoy your overnight journey in train.
Day-3 Arrive Guwahati – Kamakhya Devi
Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway Station, meet & greet by company executive or driver. Afterwards direct drive & transfer to the hotel. Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the River. Here proceed for darshan of Mata Kamakhya Devi, The Kamakhya Temple also known as Kamrup-Kamakhya temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. The current structural temple, built and renovated many times in the period 8th-17th century, gave rise to a hybrid indigenous style that is sometimes called theNilanchal Type: a temple with a hemispherical dome on a cruciform base. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day-4 Departure
After breakfast check-out & proceed to Airport or Railway station for your onward journey back to home.
